- Fanfiction - Cross Over - The Long War Ahead.-

Loki glances towards his brother Thor, they were fighting for hours, the enemies showed no sign of giving up. He was clearly across the street, his brother busy at the next one down but able to see him from a distance. He didn't want to join a war or even yet help rescue Midgard from an invasion of demons and fallen angels.

Why Demons and Fallen Angels? Aren't they supposed not to exist? Guess he was wrong. It was his first encounter with these creatures and they were controlling human bodies or corpse that was lying around.

Loki swung his scepter, the side smacking into the possessed human head, a loud crack was heard as the possessed human fell down limp on the floor with blood oozing from the side of its head. This was a war, a big war and it seems more and more are just coming. The source of the trouble apparently was started when the devil's door was open due to some cult being the key to unlocking it. Well apparently two particular people, ordinary damn humans, called: Dean Winchester and Sam Wincester. It was all stupid and crazy that Asgard has to get involved in all this war and havoc.

Thor swung his hammer, slamming into a possessed human stomach, hearing a loud grunt as the body fell back and smack into the ground with its eyes rolled back behind its head. Sweat clung to his forehead and neck, some dripping down from his chin. Some dried blood covers his armor and part of his face, wiping his arm over his own cheek, smearing the blood. "Damn, these mindless humans are refusing to give up!" He says out of frustration, his teeth grinding together. He continued to fight and fight.

The fight lasted for hours, smoke curling in the air, ash flying in the air. Loki face was covered in ashes and dirt though had blood on left side of his lips. The battle seems to dwindle down and most demons and fallen angels retreated away from the inner part of the city. Loki doesn't realize his unconscious brother which a demon approaches towards Thor's unconscious body with a blade in hand. Loki turned his head, his eyes widen, before blasting energy blast at the demon which just vaporized into ashes. He hurries forward to his brother's side, touching his arm. "Thor, wake up." He said with concern. Thor did not wake or stir. Blood covered Thor, seeing a nasty gash. He has to get Thor to safety somewhere.

Loki picked his brother limp body over his shoulder, one hand between Thor's leg, grabbing onto one of Thor's arm to keep him from falling off of his shoulder. He glances at the hammer, hesitating before grabbing as he felt some strange energy flow through him as he picked up the hammer. It surprised him; picking up the hammer was just an afterthought. He put the leather loop around his wrist, holding onto the handle with his free hand. He has to get him safety; the place was clear but for how long when more demons and fallen angels well come, he does not know. He made his way through the city, everything was a wreck, and some buildings have fallen down, including some skyscrapers. He went down into a wrecked ware house going through the opening; it was safest place and remote area he can find. He places Thor down on the floor, being careful not to hurt Thor any more than he is. He placed Mjolnir down nearby but still in immediate reach in case of emergencies.

He tended Thor's wounds, working on the serious gashes and punctures would before going for the small scratches. He sighed frustratedly, he has to wait till Thor wakes up from unconsciousness. He wiped some sweat from Thor's neck and forehead, the air was very warm and humid, due to the fire and thick ashes that fluttered in the air just absorbing in the heat. The air was smoggy and thick; it was like someone squeezing your lungs a little bit though still able to breathe but that uncomfortable feeling in the lungs.

Thor stirred, releasing a low groan from his throat. He coughs a few times, rough and dry. "Ugh! Demons..bastards." He mumbles, opening his eyes which were bloodshot and red from exhaustion and ashes that stung his eyes. He pushed his hands against the filthy floor, sitting up. Loki grab his shoulders, Thor looked up. "Loki?" He said with relief. "Easy, Thor. You're lucky to survive those wounds if it wasn't for my magic you be..dead. I swear, I have to be the responsible one to drag your ass here." He said harshly to his elder brother. He frowned his younger brother. "You didn't have to be so mean." He frowns feeling guilty for nothing. Loki lets out a sigh, biting down his tongue before giving up. "Apologies, but you're not allowed to die, not ever. You are to…dear to me and my brother." He said, it was embarrassing for him to admit such thing. His brother's blue eyes stared at him before seeing a smile crack on his face, suddenly being grabbed and hugged tightly. "Ah, Thor! Your crushing me!" He said with a growl. Thor laughs hoarsely and spoke. "Sorry. I would never die under your watch. I can say the same thing. My Mjolnir-" He said, looking to see the Mjolnir and blinks. "How?" He asked Loki. Loki looks at him and spoke. "I am not sure but I was just concerned of getting you to safety, the Mjolnir was just an afterthought and I just grabbed it and I was able to lift it up." He explained.

Thor nodded his head. "Oh alright, I think this war going to be a very long exhausting one." He said with a grunt. Loki agreed silently, frowning.
